Lashio: A Charming East Asian Respite
Situated northeast of Mandalay, Lashio, Myanmar is the largest town in the northern Shan State, located on the low mountain spur by the valley of the Yaw River. It is most accessible from the Lashio Airport (LSH) and Mandalay International Airport (MDL) some 141 miles away.

The Maha Bodayaong is another Bhuddist temple that is seven storeys high and provides great views of the town below if granted entrance to explore its upper floors.
