Livingston Depot Center

The Livingston Depot Center is a newly restored and renewed train station situated in the historic district of Livington, Montana. This was created and designed by the Minnesota firm of Reed and Stem in classic red and yellow bricks and ornate terra cotta. In 1987, the train station was converted to the Livingston Depot Center, an active and operating museum and community center. The museum opens from May to September, however, the other facilities were open during the off-season to host a wedding reception, business meeting and the model railroad club even meets in the center's basement time by time. Between 2004 and 2007, Livingston Depot Center was made for renovation to stabilize and restore the roof.

There are two interesting museums close to the depot center. The Little Bear School House Museum is a schoolhouse built in 1912, but now serves as a museum filled with memorabilia displays about the first inhabitants that lived in Montana. On the other hand, the Gallatin County Pioneer Museum in the nearby city of Bozeman, is a regional museum that showcase a unique display of photo archives, a Native American art exhibition, and the infamous Big Horn Gun.
