Mason City Municipal Airport – MCW Mason
Positioned six miles west of downtown Mason in Iowa, Mason Municipal Airport is a public airport owned by the city of Mason. The airport is primarily used for general aviation and has an airline service funded through the Essential Air Service program. Air Choice One is the only commercial online that operates in the airport and is serving scheduled flights to different domestic destinations. The airport was categorized as a non-primary commercial service airport by the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2917-2021. MCW Mason saw 14,660 passengers from July 2018 to June 2019.
