San Ratulangi International Airport is a public airport owned by the Government of Indonesia. The PT Angkasa Pura I is currently operating the airport. The airport is located in Manado, Indonesia and serves the areas in the region of North Sulawesi. The airport is the current hub of Wings Air and the Lions Air. MDC-Sam Ratulangi Intl. is considered to be one of the 11 main entry points to the country according to the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of Indonesia. The airport is also your access to the famous Bunaken Marine National Park.

The Japanese built San Ratulangi International Airport during their stay in the region. It was originally dedicated as Airfield Mapanget. After several upgrades and expansions in the airport, it has a current cargo terminal capacity of 7,840 tonnes that also features a bonded warehouse and transit zones. MDC-Sam Ratulangi Intl. also currently handles chartered flights to Ambon, Nanning, Tianjin and Xian. Bunaken Island and Bitung are nearby towns you can check out for recreational activities and tourist attractions.
