Meyrin: More than the Home of Physics
Meyrin, Switzerland is one of Canton of Geneva’s municipalities. It is home to several important organizations, such as the particle physics research organization of CERN. The city also serves as a commuter town, which is far from its humble beginnings as an agricultural village. It traces its history in as early as 1153, when it was first known as Mairin.
