Commonly known as Manchester Airport, Manchester-Boston Regional Airport is public commercial airport located in the central business district of Manchester, New Hampshire. The airport was established in 1927, and has handled more than 1 million passengers in 1997 and in its peak year of 2005; the airport has served 4.43 million passengers. Its passengers have declined over the succeeding year due to emergence of other regional airports in the state but still Manchester-Boston Regional Airport has been the considered the busiest airport in New Hampshire and the fifth biggest airport in terms of passenger volume in New England.
