A city located in Cumberland County, Millville is known as an industrial center. The region is rich in silica deposits making it one of the best cities for glass making. The very first glass factory was established in the region in 1806 by James Lee. He paved the way in influencing the American glass industry throughout the 19th century. Established as a town in 1864, the town was later reincorporated to become a city two years after, in 1866. The name of the city is derived from a mill town area. There are plenty of nature parks and natural reserves that can be enjoyed in the region, including the Maurice River Bluffs Preserve and Union Lake.

Cumberland County College is one of the first ever community colleges in New Jersey to opened its very own campus. Located close to the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Millville Vineland and the Ramada by Wyndham Vineland, Millville Area, the region is known for its stunningly maintained and decorated grounds. Landis Theater is also located in the region and is included in the list of the National Register of Historic Places. It was recently renovated and reopened in early 2010. Levoy Theater is another operational performing arts center that will captivate you through its live shows and stunning plays.
