Mylopotas: An Ios Beach Getaway
The small settlement of Mylopotas, Greece is found on the island of Ios. A 2011 census listed the population on the island at 120 people. It is a popular tourist destination during the summer and the number of people on the settlement increases significantly. Mylopotas covers a total land area of 0.2 square miles. The name of the settlement is derived from the Mylopotas stream that is found in the area. The beach in Mylopotas is the largest on the island and it is easily accessible from the shops and restaurants.
