The Newcastle Airport is a regional airport in the city of Newcastle in the province of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa. Its airport code is NCS. The Newcastle Airport is currently open for chartered and non-scheduled commercial flights only, but efforts are being made by the local government to have the airport cater to regularly scheduled flights, with Johannesburg being the first destination.

Currently, there are upgrades being made to the Newcastle Airport (NCS) as government officials are seeking to make the airport open to regularly scheduled flights by 2020. These changes are being made in an effort to cater to more business-related visits as well as for tourism. In 2016, the airport opened its new terminal building. The NCS - Newcastle Airport has one runway that supports most business jets and small commuter aircraft. Since the airport does not have regularly scheduled flights as of the moment, most passengers alight from the airports located in the cities of Johannesburg and Durban. However, the airport is close to the city of Newcastle, which is at the foot of the Drakensberg Mountains, where tourists can visit the scenic and historic Battlefields Route.
