Located in the northeastern part of the autonomous island of Mohéli, Comoros, Mohéli Bandar EsEslam Airport is a public airport, which serves as the primary entry point of the island via air. The airport is known internationally by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) code of NWA and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) code of FMCI.

The NWA-Mohéli Bandar EsEslam Airport is found at an elevation of 14 meters above the mean sea level and has a single asphalt runway with a length of 1,300 meters. Two airlines currently use the airport to date, the AB Aviation, a private airline which is based in the country, and Int'AirÎles, a regional airline based on Anjouan. Ab Aviation offers scheduled flights to the Dzaoudzi–Pamandzi International Airport at Dzaoudzi in France and Prince Said Ibrahim International Airport at Moroni in Comoros. Meanwhile, the Int'AirÎles also offers flights to Moroni and the Ouani Airport on the autonomous high island of Anjouan. While the airfield is yet to feature an in-house hotel, guests can temporarily stay at the accommodations found on the island of Mohéli. About an eight-minute drive from Mohéli Bandar Es Eslam Airport, you can find the Le Relais de Singani hotel. You can also stay at Vanilla Lodge Mohéli and Laka Lodge, both of which are located in the south of the airport.
