Oban, Scotland, UK (OBN)
Oban Airport is the primary air facility servicing the city of Oban, close to the North Connell Village. Carrying the airport code OBN, the facility is currently beign served by the Hebridean Air Services with scheduled flights to the Isles of Colonsay and Islay as well as the Isles of Coll and Tiree. Commercial flights to and from the city only started in 2008 with many of the neighboring areas benefiting largely from the increased traffic.

The airport also accommodates sightseeing flights wherein trips around the Loch Linnhe area can be enjoyed. You can also take flights to the Gulf of Corryvreckan, Castle Stalker, Tobermory, and The Bride over the Atlantic via these tourist flights. From the airport, you can also quickly visit neighboring areas like Kinlochard and Port of Menteith. A village worth noting close to the airport is Cambusbarron which is an early settlement of humans during the Bronze Age. Those who are interesting in human history and archaeology will find that the village is close to several excavations which evidence human habitation during the earliest years of human life.

Unfortunately, Oban Airport is the main airport being used within the area. You won’t be able to find another facility operating close by. As for hotels, there’s no scarcity of rooms available. For example, there’s the historic Falls of Lora hotel with a distance of just .85 miles away from the facility. There’s also the Best Western Muthu Queens Hotel and the Bay Great Western Hotel, both of which are significantly farther away at 3.55 miles from the Oban Airfield.
