It is a collaboration with Bellevue local government to promote environmental awareness for all ages. It includes programs related to ecology and stewardship. The Pacific Science Center is sitting in 7.1 acres of land. The center is open all year round for various events, including an annual Science Camp. The complex was designed by Minoru Yamasaki, who also designed the World Trade Center.

Pan Pacific Hotel has rooms with whirlpool tubs. It is a posh hotel with a restaurant within its premises. The Inn at El Gaucho is a short walking from the Pacific Science Center. It is a hotel 50’s decor.
