Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts can seat 1,500 and is formerly Pioneer Theater Auditorium located in Reno, Nevada. The dome stands out with its gold geodesic roof like a turtle's shell. It was conceptualized by Don Richter of Temcor and is famously tagged as the "Golden Turtle." The dome is registered as a historic place in 2005.
