Reit Im Winkl:Unforgettable Winter Wonderland
Locally known as a snow magnet, Reit im Winkl is a small alpine village on the German/Austrian border in Bavaria, Germany. It has become popular for its restorative and curative air and as a ski resort. In the winter, it attracts skiers and other snow enthusiasts for its snowfall. Best Time to Visit
ReitimWinkl is a destination best visited at the end of May to mid-June as well as from mid-July to August when the Big Street Festival arrives in town. Several days of fun-filled activities for the young and young at heart liven up the village. However, travelers troop to the village in September, July and January, a period when Reitim Winkl, GER hotel rates are at their highest so booking in advance is advised. The winter months of December to March, however, have the coldest weather ideal for skiing and other outdoor activities.

Then head to the big adventure playground of ReitimWinkl Outdoor Pool for hours of water fun. Don’t forget to drop by the Penninger Schnaps Museum, the first of its kind in Bavaria for a sample of the finest Bavarian spirits and liqueurs.
