Saluzzo: A Medieval Town with Interesting History and Alpine Views
The town of Saluzzo, Italy can be found in Cuneo, in the Piedmont region located in the north west of the country. It is one of the best preserved medieval villages in the area and at one point even served as the capital city of an ancient Marquisate. Today, Saluzzo has retained much of its 15th century old town with ancient palaces, churches and towers.

During the months of May, June, September and October, Saluzzo experiences good weather with pleasant average temperatures making it the best times to drop by and enjoy its many charms including a succession of festivals and musical events held from June to October. April to June sees the most number of tourist arrivals in Saluzzo that flights and Saluzzo hotel rates are priced much higher than usual so it’s best to purchase in advance to get discounts.
