San Mauro Cilento is a little ancient town located in the province of Salerno in the Campania region, southwest of Italy. It sits on a hillside in the heart of Cilento with the Stella Mountain on the horizon and lovely sandy beaches below it. Like many of its neighboring towns, San Mauro is an untouched gem that produces olive oil, wines, sausages and mountain cheese.
