Santa Marinella: Wheels of Immigration and Fun Tour
Santa Marinella, Italy is a commune in Rome. It used to be the site of Aquae Caeretanae, a Roman bathing resort. It is popular for “Wheels of Immigration”, a pretzel-like snack that Russian Jewish immigrants ate during their temporary settlement in the commune in the late 1980s.

Founded in 1981, it is dedicated to fantasy, horror, and science fiction films. It is one of the leading Italian events focused on fantastic films. It is a founding member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation.

Tourists should visit Terme Taurine or Taurine Baths when in the area. It is a former Roman bathhouse complex with baths that are now collectively considered an archaeological park. Another interesting site to visit is Papal Basilica of St. Peter in the Vatican or St. Peter’s Basilica in Vatican City. It is the most famous Renaissance architectural work. Considered as the world’s biggest church, it is also believed to be St. Peter’s burial site. Also visit the Castello di Santa Severa.
