Sarroch is a commune in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari in Sardinia, Italy and borders the municipalities of Capote, Pula, Villa San Pedro, and Assemini. The name of the town has many origins. Some said it is from “Sharak” a Phoenician word, which means a bunch of grapes, or from the Catalan term “S’arroch” which refers to the elegant rocks that surround the village.
