Silvi Marina: More than Being A Seaside Getaway
A small seaside resort town in the Teramo Province is the Silvi Marina, Italy. It is a long stretch of white sand beach and the azure Adriatic coast that feels like it goes on forever. The town served as an important fortress during the ancient times. It protected the land from invaders such as Turks and pirates. Best Time to Visit
Silvi Marina, undoubtedly, is best visited during the middle of the year when it is summer holiday. However, you might find the massive tourist crowds to be unbearable, adding to the fact that Silvi Marina hotels are also expensive. Come a little earlier than summer, like May, or later like October to fully enjoy the waters. It does not really get overwhelmingly cold during winter so it is also a good season for some on-foot exploration. Just watch out for the occasional rainfall.
