Sitiawan: A Satisfying Secret Sanctuary
Sitiawan named after the Malay port manteau word meaning "Loyal Friend" is a region in Manjung District, Perak in Malaysia. Around 1903, it became a thriving settlement for migrants who fled Fuzhou in China. From being a small community involved in rubber tapping and latex processing it has become prosperous and industrialized due to its rubber production, manufacturing of rubber gloves, and palm oil production to name a few of its businesses.

Ideal weather is experienced in Sitiawan between end of January to February as well as from June to early July. Most visitors to Sitiawan arrive in June, September and March.
