Superior: Exploring the Small Town Districts of Wisconsin
Currently the county seat of Douglas County, Superior, WI is a city located north of Village Superior and adjacent to the Town of Superior. Home to the dazzling Lake Superior, the city is also beautifully framed by two rivers, Nemadji and the SaintLouis River. You can reach the region by flying into the Duluth International Airport and the Eveleth - Virginia Municipal Airport. Superior, Wisconsin is also half of the Twin Ports, with Duluth Minnesota as the other half. The city made it to history by being the final port of call of the Edmund Fitzgerald before it sank in 1975.

A temperate climate can be enjoyed when you visit Superior during the summer season. Hottest months can be experienced during the month of July. Tourism is at peak during the months of August and June.
