Sheremetyevo International Airport or SVO is one of the four major airports in Moscow, Russia. It takes the number one spot in terms of passenger capacity, handling as much as 40.1 million people every year and a stunning 308,000 aircraft movements. Airline that operate in the facility include the Rossiya Airlines, Nordwind Airlines, Pegas Fly, and Royal Flight. It was originally built to serve as a military airbase before being turned to a civilian airport around 1959. Today, its complete name is Sheremetyevo Alexhander Pushkin Airport after a 2019 content caused the change.
