Takaoka: Riverside Retreat in Shikoku
Takaoka, Japan is a city within the Kochi prefecture. This small district is bordered by the lovely Shimanto River, and has a hilly terrain. In this month the city celebrates the annual Yosakoi Matsuri, which is a world-famous festival where the local community sways to the yosakoi naruko dance.
