The airport has an IATA code of TCE and is situated 9.9 miles southern part of the city near the Danube Delta. TCE Airport is the second airport that is constructed in Northern Dobruja, the first is Constanta Kogalniceanu International. Tulcea is a city that was founded in the 7th century.
