Taba International Airport – TCP Taba
Taba International Airport was built in 1972 during the colonization of Sinai Peninsula after the Arab-Israel conflict known as the Six-Day War. In 1979, because of the Egypt-Israel Treaty, all military forces was removed from the airport and permits tourists to travel to selected areas of Egypt without Visa. The airport has a designated IATA airport of TCP and its operation is being managed by the Egyptian Government, which controls the air traffic operations of the entire city of Taba, Egypt, and its nearby city of Eilat.

In 2000, a newly constructed passenger terminal with Approaching Light System (ALS) was opened to the public and also that same year when the airport was renamed to its current airport name.
