Tinqueux: Of Thrones and Bones
One of the pivotal historic towns of France is Tinqueux. Archeological findings of human bones resulted to the town’s history dating back to the Neolithic period. It was previously called as Villa Tancauda and was just once a grassy area along a farm road. Tinqueux, France’s local authorities are setting up historical tours to invite more visitors in town.
Best Time to Visit
Tinqueux, France has a relatively cool weather all-year round but with moderate chances of rain half of the year. The town is still unbeknownst as a tourist destination especially to foreigners so you do not need to worry about the crowd. Between the months of June to August it is warmest in town and are the ideal months to pay a visit.

The Mont-Saint-Pierre is one of most notable attractions in Tinqueux. It is a monument standing tall at the place where the infamous Napoleon is said to have directed the Reims Battle. Less than 10 minutes away, you will also find the Reims Cathedral where French kings’ coronations were held. Alongside it is the Palais du Tau, once served as a home to French kings prior their coronation and now, a museum of religious relics and artifacts.
