Tuguegarao Airport (TUG)
Tuguegarao Airport in Tuguegarao, Philippines is a public airport under the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. It serves the areas of Cagayan and Tuguegarao and sits 70 feet above mean sea level. The Air Transportation Office classifies the airport as one of the major domestic airports in the Philippines. Best Time to Visit
TUG Airport has a single terminal 1,100 square meters in size wits its upper section being developed to be able to increase its services and annual capacity. It has a 150-meter by 115-meter apron, a part of the second phase rehabilitation of the airport. The newly expanded passenger terminal building was launched in March 2018. Destinations served from the airport include the city of Manila, Basco, Palanan and Itbayat. The airfield Lighting System was also upgraded to be able to accommodate longer night operations. Tuguegarao is a nearby city featuring scenic parks, historical destinations and massive cathedrals.
