Victoria: A Forgotten Railroad Town
Victoria is a town in the state of Virginia that is included in the Lunenburg County in United States of America. The location of Victoria, VA was originally a British settlement in the new found land of United States; it has then become one of the first states of the America after statehood of the country. In the industrial revolution period, the town became a railroad town from being just a farmland area. Although it had decline in the 1950s, the removal of railroad did not cause economic impact as the main industry for the town was the prison industry but it has left a significant history to the town, which have only been slightly commemorated.
Best Time to Visit
The city of Victoria, VA has a homey vibe in it. Majority of festivals are not large but inclusive like parades and food festival. It is recommended to visit in December because you can likely catch one of the many festivals held in the city. Although it is also during this season that Victoria, VA hotels and flights to the city increases their respective prices.

There are many attractions to visit while in town like the outdoor The Adventure Park at Sandy River Retreat, which is a nice place to take a stroll and just relax. In line with many cider and food tasting in the city all year round, the Spring Creek Wine Cellar is also a place to check out.
