Waterloo: Mini France in Canada
The residential town of Waterloo, Canada is the famous site for the battle in which the influential Napoleon Bonaparte was overpowered. Before the battle, the town was then known as Lewis Falls, named after the first settler in the city – Ezekiel Lewis. Waterloo remains to be the only non-European town to speak French as their first language. It has also been a popular summer destination for many notable persons in the country hence why the town is gaining a lot of tourists.
