Fredericton International Airport – YFC
Located in Fredericton, New Brunswick is an international airport called after the city itself. It was in 1951 when the Fredericton Airport fully opened its door to commercial flights. Fredericton International Airport was not an international airport from the beginning. It was granted its international designation just on 2007. With a code YFC, the Fredericton International Airport remains to be the second busiest airport in the city in terms of the number of passengers.

Fredericton International Airport (YFC) has one passenger terminal and two runways. There is an on-going terminal expansion and will most likely be done by 2021. YFC flights are to and from Toronto-Pearson, Ottawa, and Montreal serviced by Westjet Encore, Air Canada Express, and Porter Airlines. Seasonal international flights to Cancun, Mexico and Varadero, Cuba are handled by Sunwing Airlines. In 2009, the airport reached its peak and became the 19th busiest airport in the entire country. From the YFC, you can also visit the nearby Lincoln and Kingsclear.
