AXA Sports Center, Södertälje, Sweden
AXA Sports Center now Scaniarinken is an indoor sporting arena. It is located in and owned by Municipality of Södertälje, Sweden. The center is able to accommodate up to 6,200 persons but before its renovation in 2005 it recorded on its peak an 11,372 audiences. The center was named originally as Scaniarinken until 2005 when AXA, a French multinational insurance firm enter a ten-year naming contract. In 2016, it used again its original name. The Axa/Marlboro curling team and the Södertälje SK ice hockey team are based in the arena.
AXA Sports Center is a tourist sight in its own right. One of the nearest places to visit also from the Centre is the neighborhood of Viggbyholm that has many natural attractions.
