The Iki Airport is located within the city of Iki, Nagasaki. This small, public airport was built to connect Nagasaki Prefecture with neighboring Fukuoka via flights from All Nippon Airways. Its first wave of operations was in 1964, and the last flight to the nearby cities was in 2005 because of other transportation options. Its IATA airport code is IKI, and the government operates the IKI-Iki Airport. Near the airport are several hotels and local lodging options called ryokans to choose from.
