Toyota: Auto Capital of Japan
Toyota, Japan is known to be an industrial city which is in the eastern part of Nagoya. It is located in the Aichi Prefecture which is in the center of the Country. The town is also in the western side of Toyohashi. The first name of the town is Koromo but in 1959 the name was changed to Toyota. This is to give importance to the town’s major business which is the Toyota Motor Corporation. Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO) is about 62 miles away from the town. Nagoya Airport (NKM) is much closer because it is only about 45 minutes away.
Best Time to Visit
The best seasons to visit Toyota is from spring and autumn. Unfortunately, Toyota has a hot and humid climate so summer should be avoided. June to July are the rainy months so these should be avoided too. Toyota Oiden Matsuri Festival is the largest event hosted in the city which is happening in October. Expect busy Toyota, Japan hotels during this event.
What to Do & Area Attractions
There are quite a number of attractions nearby Toyota. The most notable one is the Akashi Park. Temples are also prevalent near the city. You can visit and offer prayers at the Enkoji Temple and Daiju-ji Temple. Accommodation will not be a problem in Toyota. The most famous hotels are the Shisuikaku Toufuya and Hotel Route-Inn Toyota Jinnaka. Another popular accommodation with high guest ratings includes Toyota Prestige Hotel. It is best to book a hotel near the points of attraction.
