Tsushima, Japan is a city located in Aichi Prefecture. This region is known to be one of the paths to the pilgrimage traffic to the popular Shinto Shrine located in Tsushima jinja. The area was originally under the Oda Clan and was also part of the Owari-Tokugawa family during the Edo period. The region is the sister city of Hercules in California. You can reach the city via the Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO).

One of the most celebrated events in the region is the Tenno Matsuri. This festival has been around for two centuries featuring dozens of boats, each one decorated with 400 paper lanterns floating down the Tenno River.
