Located in Istanbul, Turkey and opened in 2009, Halic Congress Center spans up to 102,000 square meters featuring a 16,000-square-meter outdoor area, five state-of-the-art auditoriums, 23 multiuse halls, and 17 meeting and function rooms occupying four buildings that are connected to one another through large foyers and galleries. Moreover, the center can accommodate 219 to 3004 persons, with its multi-purpose halls having a seating capacity ranging from 50 to 850 guests. Halic Congress Center is the only congress center set on the shores of the city of Istanbul, particularly on the Golden Horn, which is an estuary of the Kagithane and Alibeykoy Rivers. On the left side of the center, facing east, guests can find two best options for a place to stay in while in Istanbul. Both Ramada Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Istanbul Golden Horn and Lazzoni Hotel feature a spa, wellness center, bar, and a restaurant. Superb amenities can also be enjoyed at Turquhouse Hotel. One of the city’s attractions, the Eyup Sultan Mosque in Eyup that features a mausoleum, is only a ten-minute drive from Turquhouse.
