Kaunas International Airport – KUN Kaunas
Founded in 1988, Kaunas International Airport is known as the second most active airport in Lithuania next to Vilnuis Airport and the fourth in the state of Baltic. The airport is situated in the center city of Kaunas, Baltic States, Lithuania owned by Ministry of Transport and Communication but it is being operated by the SE Lithuanian Airports. It is a civil public-used airport with an assigned IATA airport code of KUN serving the entire city of Kaunas and its nearby cities of Bendoriai, Karvys and Kozelkiskes. In 2013 of May, the Lithuanian Parliaments Government has approved the merging of Vilnuis, Palanga and Kaunas.
