Chicago Executive Airport is a public airport northwest of Chicago, Illinois. It was once called the Palwaukee Municipal Airport thus its IATA code is PWK. It is conveniently located near the interstate highway so it is the fourth busiest airport in Illinois and serves as a gateway to travelers headed to downtown Chicago or the north or west suburbs.The airport registers over 77,000 take-offs and landings annually. It was founded in 1925 as Gauthier's Flying Field.
